Sands Restaurant
The relaxing and laid-back restaurant at the Golden Sands is situated right on the beach. When the sun sets the bay is lit up with pretty lights which glow on the water when the tide is high in the evening.
This is where hotel guests enjoy a buffet-style breakfast with a selection of eats; such as a traditional English breakfast as well as cold meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, yoghurts and cereals. A perfect way to wake upright on the beach.
Service is friendly and attentive with a relaxed atmosphere. Guests can enjoy an extensive Grill menu, as well as a table d’hôte menu. The menu includes delicious classic dishes, such as roast duck breast with fondant potatoes and grilled plaice on mustard mash, as well as seasonal fresh local seafood. An extensive wine list is on offer, so the team can always recommend a wine to complement your meal.

Dinner – 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm (last orders 8:30 pm)

Dine by the sea
Guests can enjoy one of the best restaurants in St Brelade’s Bay. The Sands uses fresh local ingredients wherever possible including Jersey seafood when available. Lobster, moules and fresh fish always seem to taste better when they are served so close to the sea!
The delicious desserts are a perfect end to your day: there’s always something chocolatey on the menu as well as classic favourites like cheese and biscuits.
Before or after dinner you can sit on the terrace and enjoy the views to the west of St Brelade’s Bay with its ancient Fisherman’s Chapel. This iconic landmark, La Chapelle es Pecheurs, dates back to the 12th Century and is well worth a visit.
